Palestinian Handicrafts |
Palestinians have produced a wide variety of handicrafts over hundreds of years,
and continue to produce them today. Palestinian handicrafts include embroidery work,
potter-making, soap-making, glass-making, weaving and olive-wood and Mother of Pearl
carvings, among many others. Many handicrafts are created with clear environmental
themes depicting native trees, orchards, olive branches, and wild flowers. A collection
of Palestinian environmental handicrafts, created by a local artist, is presented below.
